After Choosing a Pediatrician, What Happens Next?

Add your pediatrician's name to your hospital's pre-admission paperwork so they can notify your pediatrician when your child is born. Your pediatrician will be available to visit you in the hospital, examine your baby and answer any questions you might have. On the day of your discharge from the hospital, call and schedule a follow-up appointment with your pediatrician.
